IFS Wholesale/Cash & Carry covers all handling activities of loose products in Cash & Carry-markets or wholesale companies. It also includes production process guidance for a limited pool of products such as minced meat. To demonstrate compliance with IFS Wholesale/Cash & Carry, the company needs to be audited by an accredited and approved certification body. If the audit is successful, a certificate is issued. The certificate is valid for 12 months followed by a recertification audit every year.
